With two designers contributing their unique aesthetic to just one shoe, the Kiko Kostadinov x Brain Dead x ASICS Gel Fratelli Half-Man, Half-Alien is a whimsical reinvention of ASICS Lazerbeam. The right shoe features the sensibilities of menswear designer Kiko Kostadinov and combines periwinkle-blue overlays on a mesh base in black, while underfoot a rubber outsole in yellow supports a black FlyteFoam midsole. Brain Dead designed the left shoe, which is distinguished by its green leather overlays on black mesh with a paint-splattered-look; the upper rides on a maroon FlyteFoam midsole atop a rubber outsole in red. The right shoe’s sockliner salutes ASICS while the left is embellished with Brain Dead and Kiko Kostadinov branding.
